PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a state estimation apparatus capable of estimating an operation mode of an electric device easily.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a state estimation device comprises a calculation part, a database, and an estimation part. The calculation part analyzes a harmonic of a power waveform generated in a feed system to which an electric device is connected and calculates a harmonic component of each order of an active power harmonic. The database stores a rate of harmonic content of each order of the harmonic for each operation mode of the electric device. The estimation device calculates, from the calculated harmonic component of each order, an amount of power consumption of each operation mode on the basis of the rate of harmonic content stored in the database, and estimates an operation mode of the electric device on the basis of the calculated result. |
