PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a communication method that are able to improve detection accuracy of an interference band so as to be able to effectively suppress a signal in the interference band of a reception signal.SOLUTION: In a communication system comprising a plurality of terminal devices and a control station, the terminal devices generate a reference signal by demodulating and decoding a pseudo transmission signal using a transmission path characteristic from a transmission source of a desired radio wave to the terminal devices. The terminal devices calculate and transmit error power from the reference signal and a reception signal to the control station. The control station detects an interference band of reception signals of the plurality of terminal devices on the basis of the error power received from the plurality of terminal devices, and transmits interference band control information. Each of the terminal devices suppresses a signal in the interference band on the basis of the received interference band control information, and performs demodulation and decoding. |
