The device has an energy-transfer element moving along a setting axis between starting and setting positions for transferring energy to a fastening element. A deceleration element (600) decelerates the energy-transfer element and comprises a stop element (610) made from metal i.e. steel. The stop element comprises a stop surface (620) for the energy-transfer element, and an impact-damping element (630) is made from elastomer, where mass of the damping element amounts to 15 percent of mass of the stop element. The damping element is connected with the stop element in a firmly-bonded manner. |
