The present invention relates to an active compound combination, comprising: (1) N-[2-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)phenyl]-5-fluoro-1,3-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide or salts thereof; (2) metalaxyl or metalaxyl-M; and (3) trifloxystrobin, which is highly suitable for controlling unwanted phytopathogenic fungi. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for the curative or preventative treatment of phytopathogenic fungi on plants or useful plants, in particular to the treatrnent of seed, for example seed of cereals.
