Convenience to the user is reduced when vibration of an power receiving device is prohibited even in cases where the power receiving device is receiving electric power through a cable, or the power transmission region of a power transmitting device is large and the power receiving device does not leave the power transmission region despite vibrating. In view of this problem, the purpose of the present invention is to selectively prohibit vibration of a power receiving device during power reception according to power reception conditions. A power receiving device having a vibrating part, the power receiving device having a power receiving means for power reception, a determining means for determining a method for power reception by the power receiving means when power is being received by the power receiving means, and a prohibiting means for prohibiting vibration by the vibrating part in response to the result of determination by the determining means. |
