PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of prolonging its life through cancellation of temperature distribution generated by a plurality of solid light sources, and a projector equipped with the light source device.SOLUTION: The light source device is provided with: a solid light source array 11 equipped with a plurality of solid light sources 11a classified into a plurality of blocks B1-B4 in accordance with the temperature distribution generated when driven with constant current; and a driving device D which drives a plurality of the solid light sources 11a arranged in the solid light source array 11 by changing driving current for each block B1-B4, so that the temperature distribution becomes even. |
