摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet that sufficiently reduce core loss of the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet and also perform high-speed electron beam irradiation treatment by using an appropriate number of electron guns.SOLUTION: When scanning in the rolling direction is repeated at intervals, in which electron beams are emitted from the electron guns across the rolling direction, while the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet is transferred along the transfer line advancing in the rolling direction, the scanning of the electron beams is performed by using N electron guns with the electron beam diameter in the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet is 0.25 mm or less. The N electron guns satisfy the conditions: N≥L×V/((v-V)×s), and v≥20 m/s, when the width of the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet is L (m), the transfer rate of the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet is V(m/s), the scanning rate of the electron beams on the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet is v (m), and the distance between the electron beam scanning lines in the rolling direction is s.
