PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing rubber hose capable of improving adhesion between EPDM and filament without using an organic solvent type adhesive, and to provide the rubber hose.SOLUTION: Rubber hose 1 includes: an inner layer rubber layer 2 in which a hollow part 2a is formed along a longitudinal direction; a braided layer 5 disposed on an outer circumferential side of the inner layer rubber layer 2; and an outer layer rubber layer 6 which is disposed on an outer circumference of the braided layer 5 and is made of ethylene-propylene diene rubber. A method of manufacturing the rubber hose includes: an RFL post-treatment process of disposing the braided layer 5 formed by combining and braiding filaments on the outer circumferential side of the inner layer rubber layer 2 and, thereafter, performing RFL treatment for attaching a resorcin-formalin-latex treatment agent of which a latex component is polybutadiene latex to the braided layer 5; an accelerator compounding process of compounding a thiuram type vulcanization accelerator and thiazole type vulcanization accelerator and forming the outer layer rubber layer 6; and a vulcanization treatment process of disposing the outer layer rubber layer 6 on the outer circumference of the braided layer 5 and, thereafter, performing vulcanization treatment. |
