PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gangway footplate device between conveyors in which a plurality of containers, which are concurrently conveyed, can be smoothly transferred from an upstream side conveyor to a downstream side conveyor without inversion of the containers.SOLUTION: A gangway footplate device 3, which is provided to a connection at which a multi-row type upstream side conveyor and a multi-row type downstream side conveyor are connected to each other in series and which transfers containers conveyed by the upstream side conveyor to the downstream side conveyor, comprises: a gangboard 31 disposed between the upstream side conveyor and the downstream side conveyor and having a flat top face which transfers the containers conveyed by the upstream side conveyor to the downstream side conveyor; and a support plate 32 comprising a spring plate for supporting the gangboard 31 from the lower side thereof. The gangboard 31 comprises a beam-like member which extends from the one side end to the other side end of the multi-row type conveyors in a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the multi-row type conveyors, and the cross-sectional shape of the beam-like member is approximately inverse triangle. |
