<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protection apparatus in which an airbag can be unfolded surely along a seat belt between the seat belt and an occupant to move the occupant sitting on a seat to the central part side in a vehicle width direction. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag 31 has a bend part to be bent so that the airbag is unfolded to the direction other than the central part side in the vehicle width direction and then unfolded toward the central part side in the vehicle width direction.
