Provided is a sanitary washing apparatus preventing a user from sensing discomfort by breathing in bad odor existing inside a toilet. The present invention comprises: a blower unit enabling an air inside the toilet to be introduced; a deodorization filter where the air introduced by the blower unit passes; a spray unit supplying water to the deodorization filter; and a control unit intermittently operating the blower unit and operating the blower unit at a first predetermined time before a time zone where the user is expected to enter the toilet.
