Provided is a memory system which provides low cost and low power consumption characteristics. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the memory device comprises: a memory for storing data; a data interface; an error interface; and a controller connected to the data interface, the error interface, and the memory. The controller transmits data stored in the memory through the data interface, and transmits error information generated by correcting an error of data read from the memory through the error interface.
