According to an embodiment, provided is a system for assembling reconstrcutable content stream. The system acquires content collection which contains multiple content components, and produces a manifest. Each of the entries of a manifest corresponds to a content component. The system acquires stream construction rules and produces a stream construction manifest by attaching the streaming construction rules to the manifest while structuring a group of stream objects for the content collection based on the stream construction rules. Each of the stream objects may contain embedded chunks of the content components. The system signs on the group of stream objects and performs assembling for the content stream which can be restructured by including the stream structure manifest, the previous version of the group of stream objects. By doing so, a network intermediate node saves the embedded chucks of at least one content component, thereby restructuring the stream objects for at least one content component based on the saved embedded chucks and stream construction manifest. |
