The electrical network has at least one energy generator which uses a regenerative energy source, e.g. a wind-powered energy plant (10) coupled to a synchronous generator and a second synchronous generator (32) driven by an IC engine (30) via an electromagnetic coupler (34) allowing motor operation of the synchronous generator with the IC engine shut-down when sufficient energy is provided via the regenerative energy source. Electrical energy storage devices (12,14,18) can be incorporated for storing the excess energy provided via the regenerative energy source. An independent claim for an operating control method for an autonomous electrical network with a wind-powered energy plant is also included. |
