According to the present invention, a method of controlling a washing machine comprising a tub and a drum which is rotatably formed in the tub includes: a step (a) of supplying detergent and wash water into the tub, to such an extend as to fill at least part of the drum; a step (b) of accelerating the drum to a preset setting speed; a step (c) of rotating the drum for a preset setting time while maintaining the setting speed; and a step (d) of additionally supplying the wash water into the tub to a preset target level.
