SIMULATION SYSTEM ESTIMATING SELF-HEATING CHARACTERISTIC OF CIRCUIT AND DESIGN METHOD THEREOF

A method of designing a semiconductor circuit using a circuit simulation tool driven in the computer of the present invention, includes a step of calculating the power consumption of each element of the semiconductor circuit by using the circuit simulation tool, a step of generating a thermal circuit netlist for the semiconductor circuit in reference to the power consumption and each geometric information of the elements, and a step of detecting each temperature of the elements by performing simulation on the thermal circuit netlist by using the circuit simulation tool. The thermal circuit netlist includes the thermal capacity information of the each element.
