According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a touch detecting apparatus. The touch detecting apparatus includes: a plurality of sensor pads comprising a plurality of bar-type strips of which at least one ends extend in a first direction; a touch detection unit detecting a first touch generation signal in accordance with a change in touch capacitance formed between each of the sensor pads and a touch generation mean and a second touch generation signal in accordance with a change in mutual capacitance between the sensor pads adjacent to each other in a first direction, wherein the bar-type strips are mutually meshed; and one or more dummy pads disposed between the mutually meshed bar-type strips and of which a longitudinal direction is parallel to the first direction. |
