METHODS FOR MANAGING TRANSACTION IN SOFTWARE DEFINED NETWORKING NETWORK

Disclosed is a method for managing a transaction in software defined networking network. The transaction management method performed in a controller comprises the following steps: generating a group message for changing states associated with each other among flow tables stored in switches; and transmitting the group message to the switches. The switches verify validity of the group message to report the same to a controller. The controller commands execution of the group message if there is no error in the group message. Therefore, simultaneity, consistency, and atomicity of transactions for a single switch or a plurality of switches may be ensured.
