The present invention discloses an energy storage device having improved heat dissipation. The energy storage device according to the present invention includes a cell assembly where at least two cylindrical energy storage cells are connected in series; a case which comprises an accommodating part of which the shape corresponds to the outside of the energy storage cell and accommodates the cell assembly; and a heat dissipation pad which is installed between the outside of the energy storage cell of the cell assembly and the inside of the accommodating part.
