Disclosed are a memory controller, a storage device, a server virtualization system and a method for recognizing the storage device in the server virtualization system. The memory controller comprises: a processor for generating a plurality of pieces of identification device data in response to an identify device command received from a host; and a host interface for transmitting the generated pieces of identify device data to the host. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a memory controller for processing an identify device command so that the host recognizes a physical storage device as a plurality of storage devices.
