The present invention relates to a monitor embedded digital image reproducing device and a setup mode setting method using the same. The device comprises: a display unit (12) configured to display a reproducing image; a menu display unit (14) configured to display information of the reproducing image and a current equipment setting value; a memory insertion unit (15) as an interface into which a memory card is inserted; first to n^th sensors or first to n^th external switch input ports in correspondence to a sensor port or a switch port (n is a natural number, 2 or higher); and an image file selection/manipulation button unit (16). Therefore, the device receives a senor or switch signal to reproduce a digital moving picture file stored in an SD card.
