The invention relates to a cross having an artistic effect, with LEDs which are electrically-supplied from a non-detachable current source attached to the cross in a suitable manner. According to the invention, the cross comprises a vertical pipe (1) crossed with a horizontal pipe (2), some slanting rods (2') and some short rods (3) of a pipe type, which form smaller crosses with the arms (a, b, and c), at whose ends there are some LEDs (d) whose electrical connection wires (e) are mounted in a support-case (7), a spiral antenna (4-4') of quasi-Archimedean spiral type being fixed to the cross with LEDs, with two successive parts of insulated wire, fixed with one end to a connector-plate (5) and passed through some holes (j) suitably located in the vertical and horizontal pipes (1 and 2), respectively, and, from the slanting rods (2'), the connection wires (e) being interconnected inside of support-case (7) with the output solenoid winding(s) (i) of a low-power magnetoelectric transformer (6) manufactured with two ferromagnetic parts framing a magnet (m) polarized at its ends, whose magnetic flux is periodically interrupted by the flux generated in opposite direction by 1-2 pairs of primary solenoid windings (k) supplied from the spiral antenna (4-4') by means of a switch (8) which can switch the connection with the spiral antenna (4-4') in order to supply a female adapter (9) or, in another embodiment, the spiral antenna (4-4') is spatially-extended in conical shape, with the axis perpendicular to the cross plane and with its electrically-insulated spaced-apart ends fixed to a metallic or non-metallic rod (10), in its centre a photovoltaic cell being possibly fixed in order to charge some flat batteries for supplemental electrical charge. |
