In the present invention, provided is a visor made of soft polyvinyl chloride (hereinafter PVC) which is eco-friendly and has shape memory properties, and a manufacturing method thereof. Further, provided is a method of manufacturing a visor which is made of PVC, uses non phthalate-based plasticizers, and has shape memory properties. A cap includes a crown covering a head and a visor protruding to the front for blocking sunlight. The method comprises: a first step of preparing a liquid raw material by mixing high-molecular PVC powder, ester plasticizers and a main component of heat stabilizers; a second step of conducting vacuum deaeration to remove bubbles and moisture contained in the liquid raw material; a third step of inputting the liquid raw material through the vacuum deaeration into a mold with an opened top surface; a fourth step of inputting the mold with the opened top surface into a container and applying radiant heat to the container to mold the liquid raw material into a product in the soft solid form; a fifth step of inputting the mold with the opened top, in which the product is molded, into a water tank to completely mold the product. Thus, the method has an effect of providing an eco-friendly product without causing environmental pollution so as to satisfy consumers since the visor is made of eco-friendly non phthalate-based plasticizers. Thus, the product is cost-effective as the product has shape memory properties and a manufacturing process is simplified to make it possible to manufacture the product at a low cost. |
