The present invention relates to a powder filling apparatus, with improved precision of charging an amount by a charger having compactness and low manufacturing costs. The apparatus comprises: a transporting device (1) of intermittently transporting a package container (A); a main charging device (2) installed in the transporting route of the transporting device (1) having a large-size auger screw to inject a predetermined weight of powder which does not exceed a final charging weight into the package container (A); a main measuring device (3) of measuring the charged powder weight in the package container by the main charging device to output the measured value to a control device (6); a compensating charging device (4) having a small-size auger screw to inject powder until reaching a final charging weight into the package container (A); and the control device (6) of adjusting the injection value by the large-size auger screw to approach the predetermined weight, based on a difference between the measured value by the main measuring device (3) and the predetermined weight. |
