PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source comprising a reaction cell for the catalysis of atomic hydrogen to form hydrinos, a source of atomic hydrogen, and a source of a hydrogen catalyst comprising a solid, a liquid, or a heterogeneous catalyst reaction mixture.SOLUTION: A power source comprises: a reaction vessel 200; a vacuum pump 256; a source 221 of atomic hydrogen from a source in communication with the reaction vessel; and a source 250 of a hydrogen catalyst in communication with the reaction vessel, in which the source of at least one of the source of atomic hydrogen and the source of the hydrogen catalyst comprises a reaction mixture of at least one reactant comprising the element or elements that form at least one of the atomic hydrogen and the hydrogen catalyst, and at least one other element, such that at least one of the atomic hydrogen and the hydrogen catalyst is formed from the source, and comprises: at least one other reactant 260 to cause catalysis by performing at least one function of activating and propagating the catalysis; and a heater 230 for the vessel. |
