Provided is a sliding fastener that can increase the aesthetics of the portion that is outside in the tape length direction from stops that are at the tape side edges of a fastener tape. The present invention is provided with: a pair of fastener tapes (20) that formed by being woven; fastener element rows (30) having a plurality of fastener elements (31) and provided to each of the facing tape side edges (20a) of the pair of fastener tapes (20); a slider (40) that meshes/separates the pair of fastener element rows (30); and stops (11, 12) that are provided to the ends of the pair of the fastener element rows (30) and that stop the movement of the slider (40). A striped pattern (S) is formed along the lengthwise direction of the tape at the outer sections in the lengthwise direction of the fastener tapes (20) from the stops (11, 12) at the tape side edges (20a). |
