The present invention relates to a system for assigning an identification code of a sensor for a vehicle using LIN communications and a method using the same, and more specifically, to a parking assistance system sensing an obstacle, an automatic parking system, a dead zone sensing system, a system for assigning an identification code of a sensor performing LIN communications with functions similar thereto which are installed on a specific location on a vehicle and a method using the same. To this end, the present invention can assign four identification codes via one ID input terminal and assign 4n (n = the number of ID input terminals) identification codes via a plurality of ID input terminals by using an analog to digital conversion terminal of an MCU or an ASIC of the sensor for the vehicle, wherein the sensor for the vehicle senses the obstacle or a specific signal to provide information using an LIN protocol, which is the communications protocol between the BCM or the ECU of the vehicle and vehicle components, and is provided with the ID input terminals. The present invention comprises: an input circuit unit including an analog to digital conversion input terminal of an MCU or an ASIC within the sensor for the vehicle and the ID input terminal for assigning the identification code to the sensor for the vehicle; a master unit composed of a body control module (BCM) or an electronic control unit (ECU) transferring an LIN signal via an LIN bus; and a connector unit assigning the identification code according to the LIN signal received from the ID terminal and the LIN bus which receive the output signal of the analog to digital conversion input terminal. |
