The present invention relates to an SNS-based electronic commerce service and method, which can implement electronic commerce for people connected based on a relationship of trust using SNS and achieve maximum advertising and sales effects at minimal cost. The SNS-based electronic commerce system according to an embodiment of the present invention is a social network service (SNS)-based electronic commerce system comprising a seller terminal, a first SNS terminal, a second SNS terminal, and an SNS server. The seller terminal transmits product information on a product for sale to the SNS server and registers the same; the SNS server automatically relays the product information to the first SNS terminal that has formed an SNS relationship with the seller terminal; the SNS server automatically relays the product information to the second SNS terminal that has formed an SNS relationship with the first SNS terminal; and the product information from the seller terminal is displayed on main pages of the first SNS terminal and the second SNS terminal.
