PROCESS FOR ISOLATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF A BENEFICIAL LACTIC BACTERIUM STRAIN, MEANT TO PROMOTE FORAGE PLANT ENSILAGING PROCESS

The invention relates to a process for obtaining a strain of lactic bacterium meant to promote the process of ensilaging forage plants. According to the invention, the process consists in isolating the strain from yellow cheese samples obtained by spontaneous fermentation, the so isolated lactic strain being deposited under the number NCAIM (P) B001436, Lactobacillus plantarum subs. plantarum being a gram-positive catalase-negative bacterium which is morphologically rod-shaped and is a beneficial strain for the forage plant ensilaging promotion.
