The present invention relates to a short pulse light signal generator to be used for a light transmission module. A pulse signal generator according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a light emitting part which outputs light by a first current; and a light modulation part which modulates light outputted from the light emitting part by a second current, outputs a pulse signal, and is disposed closest to the light emitting part. A waveguide where the width of an inlet is wider than that of an outlet, is formed on the waveguide layer of the light emitting part. According to the present invention, provided is a light pulse signal generator suitable for performing optical communication by using plastic optical fiber. |
