PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method which allow a user possessing an apparatus for use in mobile environment, e.g., a notebook PC or a portable terminal, to access a content in the home from a travel destination or a train in the way of work by using these apparatus.SOLUTION: A content transmitter 100 for transmitting a digital content to other device connected over a network includes an output unit 113 for outputting a digital content including the remote access limitation information to other device, an apparatus authentication unit 108 for determining whether or not other device exists on a home network, and a control unit 115. When the remote access limitation information included in the digital content indicates that remote access is not allowed, the control unit 115 determines whether or not other device exists on a home network, by using the apparatus authentication unit 108, and if it does not exist, the control unit 115 does not output the digital content from the output unit 113 to other device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
