PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving device capable of appropriately displaying the images and videos output from an application on a screen even when video resolution of television broadcast changes, and a program.SOLUTION: A receiving unit 11 receives a broadcast signal. A separation unit 12 separates a video signal from the broadcast signal. A video and audio processing unit 21 restores the separated video signal as a displayable video. An application execution unit 17 executes an application. An application information table (AIT) acquisition unit 14 acquires an AIT which is information related to the application. An application control unit 15 retrieves information related to output resolution of the application from the AIT. A presentation control unit 22 matches resolution of the video with resolution of an output image from the application on the basis of information related to output resolution of the application retrieved by the application control unit 15 and the resolution of the video restored by the video and audio processing unit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
