(a) a reactive solid comprising zero-valent iron and one or more iron oxide minerals in contact therewith, wherein the zero-valent iron from which the reactive solid is prepared has particle size from about 5 μm to about 200 μm; (b) a secondary reagent in contact with the reactive solid, wherein the secondary reagent is ferrous iron. |
