A touch panel (1) includes: a case (10) in which an opening (11) is formed; and a piezoelectric film (20) that has an electrode formed on both main surfaces thereof and that is provided on the case (10) so as to cover the opening (11), wherein a region of the piezoelectric film (20) that overlaps with the opening (11) serves as an operation region in which a pressing operation is accepted, the opening (11) has different lengths in the X direction and the Y direction, and the piezoelectric film (20) has a square shape or a circular shape, contains polylactic acid, and stretches in one axis direction that forms an angle of 45 degrees from the X direction and from the Y direction. Accordingly, provided are the touch panel and the electronic device that are capable of detecting pressing so as not to cancel generated electric charges irrespective of a pressing position. |
