A message delivery system is capable of delivering a message corresponding to a package to a recipient after receipt of the package is completed, or after a deliverer has finishing confirming that the recipient of the package is the person to whom the package is consigned. For example, the message delivery system is provided with: a storage unit (130) for storing a message, a receiver of the message, package information pertaining to the message, and a delivery date/time at which the message is delivered; a reception unit (1211) for receiving, when the package was delivered, person-confirmed data indicating that the deliverer has confirmed that the recipient is the person to whom the package is consigned; and a delivery unit (1212) for delivering a message corresponding to the package to the receiver after the person-confirmed data is received or when the person-confirmed data is not received even after a lapse of the delivery date/time. |
