PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pseudo-isotropic reinforced sheet material with which good fluidity during molding can be achieved by using a thin-layer chopped semi-prepreg sheet material, and a method for producing the pseudo-isotropic reinforced sheet material.SOLUTION: A pseudo-isotropic reinforced sheet material T comprises a plurality of chopped semi-prepreg sheet materials C comprising a reinforcing fiber material and a thermoplastic resin material, in which the thermoplastic resin material is set in an unimpregnated state, integrated in such a manner that the fiber direction of the reinforcing fiber material is randomly and two-dimensionally oriented. In the chopped semi-prepreg sheet material C, the average number of fibers in a thickness direction is set to from 2 to 10; and a thickness t of the sheet material, with respect to a thickness tof the sheet material in an impregnated state, is set to the range of t<t≤2×t. The pseudo-isotropic reinforced sheet material T includes a layered body M formed by adhering and integrating a plurality of the chopped semi-prepreg sheet materials C in an overlapped state such that the fiber direction of the reinforcing fiber material is randomly and two-dimensionally oriented and that the average number of sheet materials in the thickness direction is in the range from 2 to 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
