in response to the user of the mobile device indicating that they wish to engage in a transaction with a party, transmit an mWallet identifier to the party; receive, from an application server, a request to confirm an mWallet transaction, the request containing identification parameters; if a user wishes to confirm the transaction, transmitting a confirmation and user information to the application server, and if the user does not wish to confirm the transaction, transmitting a denial to the application server. The mobile device of claim 1, wherein the mWallet identifier is a telephone number.
