PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for an optical film which allows efficient coating even in a state with a high coating solid content, may significantly increase productivity in formation of a pressure-sensitive adhesive or manufacture of an optical film such as a polarizing plate, and may exhibit excellent durability reliability and re-workability after formed as the pressure-sensitive adhesive; a polarizing plate; and a liquid crystal display using the same.SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for an optical film comprises an acrylic polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 700,000 to 1,200,000. The acrylic polymer may comprise, as polymerized units, a hydroxy group-containing monomer and a carboxyl group-containing monomer. In the acrylic polymer, the hydroxy group-containing monomer content is 2.5 to 5.5 pts.wt. and the carboxyl group-containing monomer content is 0.05 to 0.3 pt.wt.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
