PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device which can detect an activity of a biopolymer or a concentration level of a drug and can also administer a specific therapeutic agent to a local site inside a body in accordance with the change in activity of the biopolymer or the concentration level of the drug.SOLUTION: A medical device comprises: a micro array 4 including a bioactive factor that interacts with a biological analyte as a disease marker; a reservoir 10 which emits a therapeutic agent from the medical device; a plurality of microchips which include microarray scanning devices acquiring physical parameter data of interaction between the biological analyte as the disease marker and the bioactive factor; a biological measurement recognition device 9 which compares the physical parameter data with the interaction profile of the analyte; a therapeutic agent emission device which controls emission of the therapeutic agent from the reservoir 10; an interface device 8 which promotes communication between the microarray scanning devices, the biological measurement recognition device 9 and the therapeutic agent emission device; and an energy source 15 which supplies power to the medical device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
