PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform an additional examination to an examination to which an examination termination is instructed.SOLUTION: A medical imaging apparatus comprises: transmission holding time determination means which determines transmission holding time from termination of an examination to the time when examination termination information generated by examination termination information generation means is transmitted to a hospital information system, on the basis of examination information; examination termination information transmission means which transmits the examination termination information generated by the examination termination information generation means to the hospital information system, after the examination is terminated and the transmission holding time is elapsed; and addition imaging instruction determination means which determines whether or not an additional imaging instruction is made by an operator by the time when the transmission holding time is elapsed. When it is determined that the additional imaging instruction is made by the operator, the examination termination information including a content obtained by additional imaging in accordance with the additional imaging instruction is generated, and the examination termination information including a content obtained by the additional imaging is transmitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
