In a printer of this invention, an inclined section (504a) is provided above a sensor cover (303) that covers a reciprocating range of a second sensor (114) provided in a manner such as to be reciprocable in a width direction of a body part. The inclined section (504a) is inclined relative to the direction in which the second sensor (114) and a conveying path face each other and to the width direction of the body part so that, compared with one end of the reciprocating range of the second sensor (114), the other end thereof is expanded. A distal end of a cable (600) routed toward the other end relative to the inclined section (504a) is connected to the sensor (114), and the position of the cable (600) in the vicinity of the inclined section (504a) is regulated. |
