Provided is a drug sorting device that automatically recognizes the orientation and position of a drug as well as characteristics such as shape, size, type, and expiration date and stores the drug while maintaining a high degree of freedom. This drug sorting device is provided with: a recognition unit that recognizes drug data including at least the drug characteristics of shape, size, and type; a storing unit for storing a drug; a storage information storage unit that stores the storage state of a drug in the storing unit; and a storage unit that stores a drug-related data table in which data relating to a drug is recorded. The storage position at which a drug is to be stored is determined on the basis of the storage information storage unit and drug data obtained as a result of the recognition unit recognizing an accommodated drug, the drug is stored, and drug data for the stored drug and storage position data therefor are associated and recorded in the drug-related data table. |
