A numerical control device has a configuration provided with: an NC machining program read-in unit (101) which reads in an NC machining program; an NC machining program storage unit (102) which stores the NC machining program; an NC command data generating unit (105) which, after an arbitrary range of the NC machining program, selected by an operator, has been read in, generates, from the read-in NC machining program, NC command data, which are NC command positions, for each control period, for a plurality of drive shafts; an NC command data analyzing unit (108) which analyzes the NC command data; and an NC command data storage unit (106) which appends the analysis results to the NC machining program and stores the same. In this way, the numerical control device is made capable of performing analyses for each drive shaft.
