An inner cover (3b) mounted on the underside of the free end of an open-close cover (3) that opens and closes a paper-holding section (6) of a printer (1) is provided with a protruding head (3c), the thickness in the direction away from a platen roller (10) of which becomes gradually narrower. On said protruding head (3c), a first surface (S1), towards which the pressure sensitive adhesive layer of a continuous label faces during feeding, is provided with a projecting section (3e) that projects from the first surface (S1) so as to face a portion of the outer circumference of the platen roller (10). The surface of said projecting section (3e) is provided with first ribs (R1). Said first ribs (R1) have a function of peeling the continuous label from the outer circumference of the platen roller (10) during back-feeding. |
