A frameless display device (1) and a mobile terminal. The device (1) comprises: a middle frame (150), a display screen (130) in the middle frame (150), a transparent cover (110) above the display screen (130), and a backlight panel (140) below the display screen (130). A display area (120) is provided between the transparent cover (110) and the display screen (130). The middle frame (150) comprises a main board (151) and a lateral board (152). The main board (151) and the lateral board (152) are joined to form an accommodating space. The lateral board (152) comprises a beveled edge (1521). The edge of the transparent cover (110) is a chamfer. A light shielding panel (160) is provided between the display screen (130) and a backlight panel (140). The light shielding panel (160) shields the peripheral edge of the backlight panel (140) and shields a gap between the display area (120) and the lateral board (152). A light emitted by the backlight panel (140) is partly refracted along an arced edge (111) of the transparent cover (110) to extend the display area. The middle frame (150) is provided at an upper edge corner thereof with a beveled edge (1521) running in the direction of the arced edge (111) to make all extending directions of the transparent cover (110) as viewable areas, where the range of display runs all the way to the edges. The light shielding panel (160) shields a display light emitted from the peripheral edges of the backlight panel (140), thus preventing a user from experiencing dizziness when viewing. |
