The present invention relates to: a compound for targeting folate receptors, which has a peptide having an amino acid sequence of glycine-glycine-cysteine-glutamate (GGCE) bonded to folic acid, and which can be used for preventing, diagnosing, or treating cancer by specifically bonding to cancer cells having overexpressed folate receptors; or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and a composition comprising the same as an active component for preventing, diagnosing, or treating cancer.
