Provided is a resin cap which can satisfactorily maintain the sealed state of a container even if hot fill is performed. A resin cap 10 is mounted to a container mouth 20 and is provided with a top plate 11, a cylinder 12 which hangs from the peripheral edge of the top plate 11, and an inner ring 14 which is formed on the inner surface of the top plate 11 and which makes contact with the inner peripheral surface of the container mouth 20. When mounted to the container mouth 20, the resin cap at least doubly seals the inner peripheral surface of the container mouth 20. |
