PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting a cognitive function impairment disease including slight cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease by using a protein and its partial peptide that are different in abundance between a non-cognitive function impairment subject and a cognitive function impairment disease patient, and a biomarker for detecting a cognitive function impairment disease including slight cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease comprising the protein and the partial peptide.SOLUTION: There is provided a biomarker for diagnosis of a cognitive function impairment disease comprising a protein of SEQ ID NO: 7 and a protein that is a partial peptide of the protein and includes an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 8 or a peptide fragment of five or more amino acid residues derived from a protein.
