PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a codebook for an efficient precoding codeword achieving an excellent performance of low feedback and overhead.SOLUTION: A transmitter 110 transmits from t transmission antennas 111.1-111.t to r reception antennas 121.1-121.r connected with a receiver 120, via a fading channel 130, and the estimate of the channel 130 is determined by a channel estimator 125. Precoding matrix is generated depending on the channel state in both transmission and reception, while taking account of polarization, an appropriate matrix codebook is identified, and then one or a plurality of indices indicating an appropriate codeword in the codebook, stored in the transmitter, is fed back.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
