The invention relates to hybrid organic/non-organic materials composed of dentritic polymers which have confined nanoparticles of metals or ions of metals and a non-organic ceramic substrate. The dentritic polymers act as matrices for the preparation of the nanoparticles of metals and the non-organic substrate and are prepared under smooth conditions and low temperatures. Said nvented hybrid materials can be used as antibacterials and catalysts.
